This is one of my favorite photographs from 2o11. I love wedding photojournalism. I consider myself a creative person but could never come up with many of the situations I photograph. The two onlookers staring at the bridesmaid are absolutely fantastic. In particular the cab driver, who has his hand resting on the window as he seemingly regretfully says goodbye. Most cab’s wouldn’t help the glamour of wedding photography but I love living in the UK as the black (hackney carriage) cabs are absolutely fantastic and have that wonderful vintage car feel. The only way this photograph could have been better is if the bride in the photograph rather than her sister the bridesmaid.
