Some of the most famous, expensive, and widely known as best wedding photographers in the world won’t photograph a bride before her hair and make up are done. The logic is simple, you don’t want to make the first few pages of the bride and grooms album look like a makeover. While their logic is sound, I find its not exactly telling the whole story. Additionally it gives them a great excuse to not work as hard. I must agree its more difficult to make them looking stunning before the hair and makeup are done, but I choose to see this as a challenge. While Sussie was particularly stunning on her own, I find it helps to overexpose the photographs to give them a particular angelic feel to the images. Also I find getting in really close helps. All you have to find is one beautiful feature and you can create a lovely wedding photograph. Also I find it helps to crop out the curlers.
